Lovely Stay with Excellent Food

I had a wonderful stay that offered a cozy atmosphere and superb dining options. The locally sourced menu was impressive, and the breakfast was especially delicious, with perfectly cooked scrambled eggs and excellent sausages. The staff were genuinely friendly and made us feel welcome, which truly enhanced our experience. the room could have been a bit warmer during the night.

We had a fantastic two-night stay in the Executive Double Room, where everything was ultra clean and the comfy beds made for restful nights. The highlight was definitely the exquisite dining experience, which included a diverse range of homemade dishes that never failed to impress us at both breakfast and dinner. the staff’s personalized service truly made us feel welcomed and at home in this quaint setting. a slightly broader selection of seating options in the dining area would enhance comfort during busy meal times.

The Wheatsheaf's cozy lounge bar, with its snug armchairs and elegant decor, felt like a warm embrace after a chilly day exploring. The uplifting atmosphere was just what I needed to unwind with a wee dram.

The room was lovely and comfy, featuring a king-sized bed, a flat-screen TV, and a microwave. I truly appreciated the wet room and complimentary shortbread. The dining experience was superb, with a wide variety of choices for breakfast, including a delicious smoked haddock. The staff were attentive and made me feel right at home.

The staff here were incredibly friendly and attentive, always checking in to make sure everything was perfect. The location is great too, only a few miles from several interesting spots. One small downside was that the room temperature could be a bit chilly at times, which made it less comfortable during the night. I had a really enjoyable visit and would happily return in the future.

The cozy accommodation provided a wonderful night's sleep in a clean and spacious attic room that featured a lovely view. A visit for my father-in-law's birthday turned into a delightful journey. The friendly staff and tasteful decor created a warm ambiance. We adored the homemade bread with locally sourced ingredients. For future guests, do try the exquisite vanilla ice cream that’s a must-have. Highly recommended!
